- Limits your choices of food, which prevents you from eating a healthy and balanced diet

- Requires you to buy special pills, creams or attend seminars in order for the diet plan or program to work

At first you might get quick, easy results with fad diets. However, it won’t take long before you realize you’ve reached a plateau. And since you also lost a lot of muscle mass in the process, you may find yourself gaining more weight back due to your reduced metabolic rate.
